The Baseline · KloudIT's 21-point IT assessment

Know exactly where your IT stands.

A senior engineer runs your business through the same 21-point assessment we use to onboard clients — security, backups, identity, network, cloud spend — and hands you the written report. All of it. Whether you hire us or not.

Everything included

This is the paid engagement. Just not paid.

[✓]

The 21-point review, run by a senior engineer

Not an intern with a checklist — the person who'd actually manage your environment walks through all 21 points with you.

[✓]

The written Baseline Report

Scored by category, in plain English. The document you can hand to a partner, a board, or your current provider.

[✓]

Your top 3 risks, ranked

Not fifty vague warnings — the three things most likely to actually hurt you, in the order to fix them.

[✓]

Quick wins you can do this week

Including the free ones. If a setting change closes a hole, we'll tell you the setting — no invoice required.

[✓]

The cloud-spend waste check

Unused licenses, idle resources, wrong tiers. This line alone regularly pays for IT projects.

Publishing the methodology costs us nothing, because the checklist isn't the value — the senior engineer reading your environment through it is.

Run the 21 points on my business
The obvious question

Why free? Because it's our best sales pitch.

Some businesses take the report, fix things themselves, and we never hear from them again — genuinely fine. Enough see how a senior engineer works, compare it to what they've got, and hire us. That's the whole model: we'd rather earn clients with competence than with ad spend. No tricks, no obligation, and the report is yours either way.

Capacity, not scarcity theatre

Senior engineers do these personally.

That's the point of the Baseline — and it's also the constraint. We run a limited number each month, first come, first served.

Best fit: Alberta businesses, roughly 5–100 staff
Works remote, or on-site in Edmonton & Calgary
No prep needed — bring your frustrations
In writing

Our end of the deal.

The findings promise

You leave with real findings — or a clean bill of health.

If the assessment doesn't surface at least three concrete improvements, we'll say so in writing: "you're in good shape" is a valid result, and it's a useful document to have. What we won't do is invent problems to sell you a fix.

Who's assessing you

Certified senior engineers. The same people who'd run your account.

Not sales reps working a script — engineers with 5+ years in the field, certified across Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, AWS, and CompTIA, who build and secure these environments daily.
