K-02 / Cloud solutions & migrations

Migrate Friday.
Nobody notices Monday.

That's a successful cloud migration: your team signs in and everything's just… there. Microsoft 365 and Azure moves planned, rehearsed, and cut over on the weekend by senior engineers — then managed properly ever after.

Why our cutovers are quiet

Migrations don't go wrong on the weekend. They go wrong in the planning.

Discover

Map everything that exists: mailboxes, files, apps, integrations, the forgotten shared drive from 2019. Surprises found now aren't surprises later.

M-02

Plan

Decide what moves, what retires, and what stays on-prem. Licensing chosen for what your team actually uses — not the biggest SKU on the sheet.

M-03

Pilot

A small group moves first. Real users, real workflows, real feedback — and every issue fixed before it can multiply by fifty.

M-04

Cut over

Data pre-synced, checklist rehearsed, cutover on a weekend. Monday morning the change is invisible — that's the standard.

M-05

Hypercare

Engineers on standby the first week for anything odd, then straight into managed support, backup, and monitoring. Nobody vanishes after go-live.

Plan hard, so the weekend is boring.

Every phase is run by the senior engineer who'll answer your calls afterward — not a project team that disappears when the invoice clears.

Plan my migration
Scope of work

Cloud, end to end.

Migration is the headline, but the value is everything around it — identity, backup, cost control, and a hybrid design that fits how you actually work.

Microsoft 365 migrations

Email, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive moved from anywhere — old servers, Google Workspace, another tenant — with nothing left behind.

Azure infrastructure

Servers and workloads rebuilt properly in Azure — sized right, secured from day one, and reachable from anywhere your business operates.

Hybrid design

On-prem and cloud working as one system — identity synced through Entra ID, so one login covers both worlds and each workload runs where it's best.

Cloud backup & recovery

Independent backup of your Microsoft 365 data plus Azure recovery plans — because retention policies are not backups, and we test restores to prove it.

Identity & access

Entra ID configured properly: single sign-on, MFA, and conditional access — the security foundation the whole cloud sits on.

Licensing & cost control

The right SKUs for how people actually work, reviewed on a schedule — so the bill tracks your business, not your provider's commission.

Before we add, we subtract

The cloud bill nobody audits.

Cloud spend creeps: licenses outlive employees, premium tiers go unused, test VMs run forever. Every KloudIT engagement starts with a right-sizing pass — most clients fund part of the project with what we cut.

Proof · Martyshuk Housing

A cloud move that didn't feel like one.

A housing company running on aging local systems needed to modernize without disrupting the day-to-day. We moved them to Microsoft 365, tightened security as part of the migration rather than after it, and kept the change nearly invisible to the team doing the actual work.

"They took care of the security side in a way that made us feel comfortable, and handled the move to the cloud without making it complicated for our team."

Straight answers

Questions owners actually ask.

Q-01Will we lose email or files during the migration?+

No — preventing that is what the whole process is for. Your data is synced ahead of the cutover, the switch itself is rehearsed, and a verification pass confirms every mailbox and file library before Monday. The riskiest migration is the improvised one; ours are checklists.

Q-02How long does a migration take?+

Depends on size and complexity: discovery through pilot usually runs a few weeks, and the cutover itself is typically a weekend. The free assessment gives you a real timeline for your environment instead of a brochure answer.

Q-03Isn't our Microsoft 365 data automatically backed up?+

Not the way most people assume. Microsoft protects its infrastructure and keeps limited retention, but deleted, corrupted, or ransomware-encrypted data can still be gone for good. That's Microsoft's own shared-responsibility model, not a loophole. A separate third-party backup of 365 is standard on every KloudIT engagement.

Q-04Can we keep some systems on-premise?+

Yes — hybrid is the most common outcome, not the exception. Identity syncs through Entra ID so one login covers both worlds, and each workload runs wherever it performs best. We build both sides, so nothing gets forced into the cloud to fit a provider's business model.

Q-05What does a migration cost?+

Fixed scope after the free assessment: a defined migration fee plus transparent licensing at published Microsoft pricing, with ongoing management at a flat monthly rate. You'll see the full number before anything moves.
