The AI Opportunity Map · KloudIT's free AI assessment

Find out exactly what AI should do for you.

A senior engineer walks your workflows and hands you a written map: the two or three automations with the fastest payback, what each would take to build, and the honest list of what to leave alone. Yours to keep, whether you hire us or not.

A consulting engagement. Minus the invoice.

The workflow walkthrough, with an engineer who ships AI

Not a chatbot demo and not a slide deck. An engineer who builds these systems asks how your business actually runs, and listens.

[✓]

The written Opportunity Map

Your top two or three automations, ranked by payback, with the hours each one gives back and what it would take to build.

[✓]

Effort & readiness rating per opportunity

What's a two-week build, what's a bigger project, and what your data needs to look like before either makes sense.

[✓]

The "leave it alone" list

The workflows where AI would cost more than it saves. Most vendors won't write this list. It's our favourite part.

[✓]

Security & privacy notes

How your data would be scoped, what the AI could and couldn't see, and where PIPA and PIPEDA fit before anything is built.

Data entry
S-01The same information typed into more than one system
S-02Invoices, orders, or forms keyed in by hand
S-03Matching records line by line, by eye
Documents
S-04Long documents read to extract a few facts
S-05Reports summarized for people who won't read them
Questions
S-06The same internal questions answered weekly
S-07"Ask Sandra, she knows where that is"
Between systems
S-08People acting as the bridge between two platforms
S-09A backlog that never clears no matter who's hired
S-10Month-end crunch that's really a filing crunch

Boring, frequent, and rule-shaped. That's the profile.

And when a workflow doesn't fit the profile, we say so. Half the value of the map is what it tells you not to build.

Map my workflows
The obvious question

Why free? Because it's our best sales pitch.

Some businesses take the map and never call again, and that's genuinely fine. Enough see the difference between an AI vendor selling a platform and an engineer scoping a build, and hire us for the first automation. We'd rather earn that trust with a useful document than an ad budget. No tricks, no obligation, and the map is yours either way.

Capacity, not scarcity theatre

Engineers who ship AI do these personally.

That's the value of the map, and it's also the constraint. We run a limited number each month, first come, first served.

Best fit: Alberta businesses, roughly 5–100 staff
No AI knowledge needed. Bring your bottlenecks.
Works with the systems you already run
In writing

Our end of the deal.

The honesty promise

If AI isn't worth it for you, the map says so.

"Nothing here is worth automating yet" is a valid result, and we'll put it in writing with the reasons why. What we won't do is invent an AI project to have something to sell. The map has to be true, or it's worthless to both of us.

Why trust our read

We've shipped the systems this map recommends.

Document intelligence, inbox triage, grounded internal agents, Power Automate integrations: built, tested, and running for real businesses. Including one build that speaks for itself:

1,095+Hours saved, one client
137Full shifts reclaimed
10Months in production

Before you ask

The fine print, out loud.

Q-01Do we need to be technical, or know anything about AI?+

No. You know your business and where the time goes; that's the expertise this needs. We translate it into what's buildable. If you can describe your most annoying Tuesday, you're qualified.

Q-02Is our data safe during the assessment?+

The assessment is conversation-first: we don't need access to your systems to build the map. If a deeper look would sharpen a recommendation, we'll ask, explain exactly what for, and it's your call. Privacy scoping under PIPA and PIPEDA is part of the map itself, before anything is ever built.

Q-03What if AI just isn't a fit for us?+

Then the map says so, in writing, with the reasons. You'll still walk away knowing which workflows are close, what would need to change first, and what to ignore when the next AI salesperson calls. That document alone is worth the fifteen minutes.
